A Friend In Need

November 8, 2007

Placebo – Pure Morning
A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend with weed is better,
A friend with breasts and all the rest,
A friend who’s dressed in leather,

A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend who’ll tease is better ,
Our thoughts compressed,
Which makes us blessed,
And makes for stormy weather,

A friend in needs a friend indeed,
My Japanese is better,
And when she’s pressed she will undress,
And then she’s boxing clever,

A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend who bleeds is better,
My friend confessed she passed the test,
And we will never sever,

Day’s dawning, skins crawling
Pure morning,

A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend who’ll tease is better,
Our thoughts compressed,
Which makes us blessed,
And makes for stormy weather,

A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend who bleeds is better,
My friend confessed she passed the test,
And we will never sever,

Day’s dawning, skins crawling
Pure morning,

A friend in needs a friend indeed,
My Japanese is better,
And when she’s pressed she will undress,
And then she’s boxing clever,

A friend in needs a friend indeed,
A friend with weed is better,
A friend with breast and all the rest,
A friend who’s dressed in leather

Dang you… now I have to go listen to that song. P.S. Isn’t Bruan Molko the most beautiful woman in puppet-land?

So listening to Placebo huh? I liked their last record, saw them summer before last, they’re better on record. live everything sounds the same (the high point of the show was the Kate Bush cover they did, as it was the only song in a differnt key with an interesting chord progression) and they had two session musicions off on the sides doing all the tricky bits. Still it was pretty fun, except for when the tall guy kept gyrating his hips in THE cheesiest fashion, even made David Lee Roth not look over the top in comparison.
